BUDGET HEARING – VETERANS SERVICES

2 hr. 23  minute mark    Terry Pendergraft – "Moving over to the 038. Once again it is the same as fical year 10 with a couple exceptions with a 3% pay increase for myself and Janie and a $1 merit increase for our new employee Melissa Cobb. The other changes are only the PERS, Medicare and Workers Compensation. The total of that comes to $168,037. The two combined departments come together about $319,960. A half mill generated that we would normally be entitled to is $397,910. So that is $77,950 that we are not asking for."

Commissioner Wesler – How much is it?

Terry Pendergraft – $77,950. We have been working extremely hard to keep our work with the taxpayers and the county… This is our millage if you want to verify the millage that's comes from the Auditor. If there is any questions on the budget.

Commissioner Weslergarbled question on Veterans Relief

Terry Pendergraft – I don't think it really increased, I think it was $98,000 before. I think it wass the same as it was last year Dave.

Commissioner Weslergarbled 92,500 last year.

Terry Pendergraft – I don't think that's right.
