Visual Arts Center – Painted Pig Contest

Press release:

Help paint the town with our Painted Pig contest!

The Visual Arts Center of Preble County is teaming up with The Preble County Pork Festival to decorate the town with ten painted stone pigs. Paint them realistic, paint them fantastical, paint them abstract, the choice is yours! Once your chosen piggy is painted and displayed for all to see around the town, then it is off to the races as they will be moved to the Preble County Fair in front of the Rotary Junction for judging. The winning pig will earn its painter $100, with 2nd place earning $75, and 3rd earning $50.

The contest is open to everyone of all ages. Teams can also be formed but can have no more than 5 people per team. Designs must be submitted to be considered for the competition and submitted with an entry form. Deadline to enter is August 8th, 2014. Questions? Want to pick up a form? Give us a call at 937-456-3999 or stop in to visit us at 601 Hillcrest Drive. We are open 1pm to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday.
