Exit no action taken

27  Minute mark   Commissioner Wesler notes receipt of and reads letter into record. Resignation from Sheriff's office.

29.2  Minute mark  Commissioner Wesler offers his account of visit last week with Director Zehringer in Columbus.  Preble County may fit in with what the state is doing with Agri business (Goose Creek Crossing). Claims both Zehringer and Governor were very high on the need for Goose Creek development. This appears to be a very generous description of the meeting and may not be accurate. For reference, a recent article (July 8, 2011) of the Pal Item.  The paper offered this: "A spokesperson for Kasich confirmed the meeting with Preble County officials but would not comment on the development." That hardly fits a "very high on" description.   Commissioners also had lunch with CCAO staff and discussed Palmer Energy.
