Preble County Council on Aging & the American Red Cross – Prepare for Future Emergencies

The Preble County Council on Aging and the American Red Cross, Dayton, Ohio, are collaborating to prepare for future emergencies in Preble County. PCCOA will provide a safe location for the American Red Cross to store emergency supplies and an emergency vehicle for Preble County. The vehicle and supplies will be stored inside the bus barn at the Preble County Senior Center at 800 East St. Clair Street, Eaton. A designated space will be provided for supplies, with shelving.

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

This collaboration allows the Red Cross to continue to actively support citizens in Preble County with a local presence.  The Red Cross is very grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Council on Aging.
