Dog License Fee Options – Wesler & Hueston Woods

This meeting provides the information that dog owners will have the option to buy a permanent dog license for a onetime fee. It should be an option by the end of the year.

The most amazing thing though was Dave Wesler taking credit for rescuing Hueston Woods from a time when hardly anybody did anything down there. Yep ole Dave saved the state park from obscurity. This report from 2009 shows that Hueston Woods drew 2,911,659 visitors at a time when Dave claimed ”…hardly anyone did anything down there” (see page 17 of the .pdf).

1 hr. 4 Minute mark   Discussion on Woodland Trails event held the past weekend.

1 hr. 8.25 Minute mark   David Wesler – ..it is good to bring some of these things you know to an awareness. Chris when you first came in Hueston Woods hardly anybody did anything down there. We try to bring awareness here to Hueston Woods with the Convention & Visitors Bureau and everything that is up and running now. Now they are more widely known and more people are enjoying places in Preble County. Dave is delusional and apparently believes no one knew about Hueston Woods before he voted for a bed tax. Why not just ask them on the record if they would rather have the tax or not and put the issue to bed? If they agree with Dave I will post it.

Woodland Trails draws scouts from other states as well as local.

Rodney Creech also attended the Woodland Trail event.

Commissioners hope for a good fair.
