Connie – Now the Electric aggregation program…. governance plan.

I agree with Denise and David that the meetings need to be at the courthouse.

44 Minute mark    Connie mentions a lawsuit against all of the County Recorders  – Regarding Athens County, the lawsuit cites an amendment filed in 1939 to "Frank W. Cone's 'Ridgepark' in Athens County," which Markins said was property located between Strouds Run and Peach Ridge Roads that was subdivided into 18 lots in 1939.

The amendment says owners of the lots cannot allow the property to be used or occupied "by any person in whole or in part of the negro race or blood." It makes exceptions for black servants who work for the families or persons occupying the lots.

Another example would be Lawrence County Recorder, Sharon Hager, who on June 7, 2012, printed off information for the Mott Addition which included a restriction is Section 4 that said, “No lot in subdivision shall be sold or otherwise occupied by any person other than persons of Caucasian Descent except for domestic servants.”

45.25 Minute mark   Chris Day mentions that he has a CORSA meeting next week.

45.5 Minute mark    Denise Robertson – mentions a couple phone calls. Phone call about hunting on county property, someone saw employees hunting at the landfill.

Connie – Brian Moore is trapping muskrat there.

Denise Robertson – Another call on ending the recycling at Lakengren (as mentioned last week the county taxpayer has been subsidizing Lakengren since the grant ran out in 2003.)

49 Minute mark    David Wesler on people being misinformed on what is going on in here sometimes. David wants the commission to put out a survey to find out where people stand – mentions the alcohol issue from the last week. Mentions the sheep show.

Discussion on the sheep show and keeping the shows here.
