2ND PUBLIC HEARING – BUILDING & ZONING FEE MODIFICATION

A. CONSIDER ACTION ON RES. #157-13-159

RE: MODIFYING THE PREBLE CO. BUILDING & ZONING FEE SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR VIOLATIONS

Chad mentions that in the last 12 to 15 months the doubling of the fees would have impacted probably 6 people. Dave claims that if they don't raise this tax that next year there might be 15 people because there is no penalty. Dave neglects to consider that this fee has been the same since 2006 and it the county is at six.

Chris Day and David Wesler vote to raise fee 100%. Denise Robertson votes no – I agree with Denise.
